Happiness and God? - whereto from here??

*Final post from my friend's blog

After all this criss-cross between our group of friends, where to from here? Well, it's up to you now to find out for yourselves. And by the way... I didn't mean to start a debate. I was looking for comments, yes, and I'm glad people have poured out their views :) But it was never meant to be a debate...

This sort of debate has been going on for centuries... Personally I didn't want to start a debate at all, because I knew it'd be never ending. Now that you know what I think, I'll leave it right here

Finally there's a peaceful sound of breathing next to me after a few moments of dry coughing. Poor Bear has been so sick, and should have been resting. To my surprise, this naughty girl has been trading off her precious resting time to write in this space...hm..I didn't even know this space existed until now. I don't feel the need to join-in but I want to encourage those Christians who might be following this saga, here's an example of what ultimate "tolerance" is about: In the face of death and persecution Jesus did not insult anyone who were in different to His opinion, nor defend Himself in a trial. He simply presented His case that He is God. Other people think otherwise, but He did not do anything to stop them from their personal choice. What is more amazing is how he forgave those who rejected Him to the point of letting them nail Him to the cross. There was no condition that He died for everyone, for under the skin colour, cultural or religious facade, every human being is the same and we all have the same needs and desire to be loved and forgiven. And this is a gesture of acceptance and the ultimate act of tolerance. Tolerance is not meant to be spoken for words mean very little to me, but love and tolerance is shown through action. Such gesture should be admired, respected and more importantly modelled in our lives to make this world a better place for everyone. Lastly, I pray for you my darling wife to get better soon, and spend more time resting rather then strainning your eyes looking at the screen and wasting time worrying for nothing, because true friends last forever and I'm sure a few of these healthy philosophical discussions will only make your friendship grow closer and stronger. (poor me, I think friendship to her is more important then her husband...haha..silly girl have a good sleep) Sorry for the long comment, thought this might be the first and last of my comments in this space I'll make good use of it. See ya.

nothing wrong with a debate or comments or views, anyway I don't think it's something unexpected I think that when people talk about religion or true God/s how can you not have a discussion especially when we all don't believe the same thing.

it's more like a healthy discussion anyway

Yes I'm cool with healthy discussions, and like you said, "The best group of friends are those who can discuss amicably and maturely about issues, regardless of how unresolvable these issues are" - I like that :)
