Exam stress
End of semester exams have come and gone.I needed to study my a** off and ended up getting about 5 hours sleep each night. And about 4 hours sleep the night before my two exams.
Funnily enough (and most people have called me weird over this) I didn't need to study that hard to pass. I pretty much got enough marks to pass 1 subject, and I only needed 6 marks to pass the other one. But being me, I always want to give it my all - otherwise I end up regretting it in the long run.
The whole idea of putting in enough effort to just make it, whether it be for an exam or something bigger doesn't appeal to me. Why bother doing something if you're not going to put in 100% for it?
It kinda bothers me that some people do live by this mantra. When did we turn into a society where doing just enough to get by is acceptable? Is the 'no worries' philosophy (aka hakuna matata in Disneyspeak) prevalent in society slowly destroying mankind's ability to strive for the stars, and study their a**es off?
